Festive lights switch-on, on Friday 30.11.2018, will be accompanied with short cultural program and a traditional mayors speech. This will be the first step into the festive December, which will last until 2.1.2019. Your evening walks experience through festive Ljubljana will be further enhanced with many events throughout December.
Congress square will hold a special exhibition with ice sculptures made my Slovenian and international artists. This years theme is dragons, the inspiration comes from the legend of Ljubljana dragon – free entry. Close by you will find a Christmas market, where you can warm yourself with a drink or you can grab something to eat. There you will also find a very wide selection of Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
During this period let`s not forget to be kind to our environment and if it is in your capability donate gifts to one of the various non-profitable associations who will later donate it to the kids, which parents are not able to afford them – we ALL deserve a proper Christmas.
