UNWTO - Global Code of Ethics

Hotel Park is proud to be one (and also first actually signing) of the seven signers of the UNWTO  Private Sector Commitment to the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism on this years Tourism Panel in Bled.

By signing the Global code of Ethics for tourism companies pledge to uphold, promote and implement the values of responsible and sustainable tourism development championed by the Code. They further undertake to report on their implementation of the Code's principles in their corporate governance to the World Committee on Tourism Ethics

A special focus on social, cultural and economic matters is one of the main objectives of the Commitment, which draws particular attention to issues such as human rights, social inclusion, gender equality, accessibility, and the protection of vulnerable groups and host communities.

All of the seven signers of the Code are also included in the Slovenian Green scheme, have at least one of the certification of sustainability and all have the Slovenian Green Accommodation certificate.
