From 25.03 to 27.03.2011, Ljubljana hosted the dance festival Plesna Vesna. Most foreign dancers, art performers, choreographers, artists in general in the field of art of modern dance overnight at the Park Hotel Ljubljana.

About the Festival
Sunny spring awakening in Ljubljana, was held in energy wave of unforgettable dance that has brought excitement and excess of expectations. The story of the three-day festival was presented in 22dance performances by domesticand foreign dance artists. Technical performance was excellent, free flow between creative spirit of art performers and audience was brilliant.

According to the enthusiastic leader of European Dance Network Aerowaves John Ashford, Ljubljana is a small town, which has great dance stages,  which you can stroll on foot and presents a model for future festivals that are planned over the next four years. This festival makes Ljubljana a Center of Contemporary Dance.
